Mounted Combat Rules for Shadowdark

Shadowdark doesn’t have many rules for combats involving mounted riders or knights charging and fighting from horseback. I worked up a table of common situations that players might encounter in open melees. Of course, it’s helpful if you have already bought Erudite ZINE No. 1 “WARHORSE” as it includes movement, attack abilities, and other traits of warhorses. The Zine also includes the new Knight Lancer class. You can pick it up here for under $10 including a one-shot adventure. These rules will come in handy for GMs running a melee among mounted figures and adversaries on foot.
